Education is a journey, not a destination. Christ, Prince of Peace provides an outstanding education steeped in a rich tradition of faith, service and academic excellence.
Upon the baptism of their children, parents are reminded that they are their child’s first teacher in the ways of faith. Working in close partnership with our parents, the CPOP faculty and staff provide a Catholic faith community in which those children can continue to grow in body, mind and spirit.
The administration strives to foster open lines of communication with our school parents. Parents of ELC-3rd use the application SeeSaw to communicate the daily activities in the classroom. Parents in 4-8th can monitor classroom activities and homework via Google Classroom. In addition, each teacher can be contacted through his/her CPOP email address.
Christ, Prince of Peace School has a very active parent community that supports the school financially, socially and spiritually. Many functions for children and parents are planned throughout the year. Among the activities are: Ice Cream Social, Trunk or Treat, Catholic Schools Week and School Masses.
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) coordinates most of the volunteer opportunities. Parents may sign up on the first day of school at the Get It Done Day event to volunteer. The School Board, Marketing Committee and Auction are also staffed by parents.
Our Open House events (each fall and spring) are a great opportunity to see what Christ, Prince of Peace School offers. We also offer private tours of our school when we are in session.
