The existing building was renovated with an enlarged stage, library, art room and science lab. By the fall of 2010, the school's enrollment had increased to approximately 335 students with a faculty and staff of 34.
Religion Christ, Prince of Peace School is a faith-filled community. Our school theme is "Getting in Touch with Jesus." We reinforce our theme through participation in the Mass, classroom and school-wide activities. Students who are "Caught in Touch" with Jesus are given special recognition. As one of our students said, "In this school, Jesus comes first all of the time."
Specials In addition to the students's core classes, special classes are part of the school's curriculum. Art, Computer, and Library Science are taught once a week and include cross-curricular activities. Music and Physical Education are taught twice a week, with music being incorporated into the weekly school Masses. Students in 7th and 8th grade enjoy Spanish classes twice a week, while 6th grade meets once a week. Our recent renovations have allowed for dedicated classrooms for each of these special classes.
